Privacy is all important to you and to me. This is the boring bit I’m afraid, but I am required by law to inform you of your rights under the Data Protection Act 2018. They are your rights to request data about yourself from me and they are in summary form shown below (taken from direct.gov.uk).
Protecting your information
The Data Protection Act’s rules are quite complex, but at the heart of it are eight common sense rules known as the ‘data protection principles’.
These principles require any organisation, corporation or governmental body that collects personal information to handle it safely. Anyone collecting personal information must:

1. PROTECTING PERSONAL DATA
We are committed to protecting your privacy under the Data Protection Act 2018. We take special care of your personal data with regards to collection, processing and use of it.
2. COLLECTING DATA
We collect personal data from online and offline sales enquiries. This data includes name, telephone number and email address. For online enquiries your IP address is also collected.
We collect personal data from from online review submissions. This data includes name and IP address.
3.CONSENT
Where applicable we ask for your consent to collect, store and process your personal data .
We have a legitimate interest to collect your personal data from sales enquiries and online review submissions.
4. DATA USAGE
Your personal data collected from sales enquiries is used for correspondence purposes.
Your personal data collected from online review submissions is used to display reviews on the website.
Your IP address, when collected from online form submissions is used for security purposes.

5. DATA STORAGE
We store your personal data collected from online web enquiries for 30 days.
6. ‘RIGHT TO ACCESS’ & ‘RIGHT TO ERASURE’
If you have provided us with your personal data, you have the right to request a copy of all the personal data we retain on you as well as the right to have this data deleted.
If requested we will delete all your personal data with the exception of any data which we are legally obliged to store.
7. USE OF COOKIES
Our website uses cookies for Google reCAPTCHA.
Google reCAPTCHA sets a necessary cookie (_GRECAPTCHA) when executed for the purpose of providing its risk analysis
No personal data is saved in the cookie.
